Oh Thanksgiving how I love thee.... let me count the ways.
For those that don’t know, I eat gluten free. Not because it is a fad. It is because I have to. My daughter also has celiac disease.
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. When I found out we couldn’t have wheat, my heart just dropped. How do I make stuffing or pie or green bean casserole?
Well, to tell you the truth, it was easier then I thought. And, I did it from scratch.
That’s right. Without mixes or premade anything. Ok, I did have to buy gluten free French fried onions and marshmallows. Those were a little over my head.
Although, I have made marshmallows before, I didn’t have time to make them.
You can and I will share that recipe in December.
Another thing I plan to share are gluten free meals your kids can make. I have searched high and low for a cookbook for my daughter and there are none. If anyone can find one please, let me know.
I will be happy to purchase it.
Ok that is my update for today.
Recipes and pictures coming soon.
